2. know your audience
– get to know your audience, and adjust your caption according to what THEY want. your audience is defined by what you’re trying to send across, the product you sell or the service you provide

3. use words that people use
– a complicated language only makes people confused. Talk to people, not at them.

4. emphasize the first line!
– hook people with the first line of your caption. Learn how to create suspense to leave your readers wanting more.

5. utilize hashtags!
– hashtags should always be placed at the end of your caption. The Hashtag should not be #placed at the #middle of your caption like this, as it appears messy. Leave it at the end, and they still serve their function.
